  3. New GEMini CDROM for Atari

  8. Walnut Creek CDROM announces the release of the GEMini CDROM for Atari
  9. Computers.   The CDROM contains 616 MB, and 2872 public domain programs,
  10. shareware programs and commercial demos for the Atari ST, TT, and Falcon
  11. Computers plus a section for the Portfolio palmtop computer.  It also
  12. contains text and graphics for the Lynx and Jaguar video game systems.

  14. The GEMini CDROM is set up in a logical tree structure which simpifies
  15. seaching for and running the programs.  You can find files in areas such
  16. as accessories, archives, astronomy, database, fonts, games, GNU,
  17. programming, screeen savers, virus , text editors, utilities, etc.

  19. It includes 50 megabytes of games and entertainment software.  For the
  20. desktop publisher, it contains 15 megabytes of fonts.  Many programs
  21. include source code.  All programs may be run directly from the CDROM so
  22. there is no need to decompress onto the hard drive in order to use the
  23. files.  Each directory contains an index and a list of files to make it
  24. easier for a user to locate a file.

  26. The disc is set up for both Atari and MSDOS BBS's.  All the noncompressed
  27. files have a corresponding compressed version in the zip folder, so BBS
  28. operators can easily make thousands of Atari files available to their users.
  29. BBS formats include PCBoard, Opus, Wildcat, RBBS, Spitfire, and Maximus.

  49. own work.  Just email me your name, address, and the name of the program(s)
  50. that you wrote.  Overseas addresses are ok.

  52. Many of the programs on this disc are shareware, and require seperate payment
  53. to the author for continued use.  This CDROM is fully guaranteed, if you are
